“Some solitary company”

I’m sure we all remember the song “Africa” by Toto.  If not, here’s the fairly tedious video for the song:

I like the song itself (in fact, it’s been stuck in my mind for days now!), even though it’s a slick piece of corporate rock/pop with badly written lyrics.  Maybe if Ernest Hemingway had written a short story based on the song, the lyrics would make more sense….

    ha ha…LOve this post! That video is just weird but love all the books….I’ve never seen a book stage before 🙂 And that story is genius. Thank you Rob, great way to start my birthday.
